After months upon months of leaks, the iPhone 6 is finally official and you’ll be able to get your hands on it from September 19, with pre-orders opening on September 12.
Ahead of that date though, retailers and network providers have started to announce availability for the iPhone 6 including a few teasers as to what tariffs you’ll be able to pick up the iPhone 6 on.
The iPhone 6 comes in two models. The iPhone 6 has a 4.7-inch display, while the larger iPhone 6 Plus features a 5.5-inch display. Both run the latest iOS 8 operating system, powered by the new Apple A8 processor and M8 co-processor.

Apple
Of course, the easiest place to get a SIM-free iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus is the Apple website. SIM-free prices for the iPhone 6 are 16GB £539, 64GB £619 or 128GB £699. The iPhone 6 Plus is 16GB £619, 64GB £699 or 128GB £789.
Three
Three has been one of the last networks to open up the iPhone 6 pre-order page on its website. But at least now we know how much you'll have to pay per month for the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus.
All three tariff options require a £99 upfront cost for the handset, whether you're purchasing the 4.7-inch or 5.5-inch iPhone 6 iteration. Unless you want the 128GB iPhone 6 Plus on teh All You Can Eat data tariff, in which case you'll need to fork out £199 as a one off payment.
The 1GB data allowance tariff is £38 per month for the iPhone 6 or £44 per month for the iPhone 6 Plus. The 2GB data option is £41 or £47 per month for the 6 and 6 Plus respectively. The All You Can Eat data package is £45 per month for the iPhone 6 or £51 per month for the iPhone 6 Plus.
Vodafone
Vodafone's pre-order pages are live for both models of the iPhone 6. All tariffs come with unlimited minutes and texts, but if you want a free handset you'll need to pay £48.50 a month for the iPhone 6 with 7GB of data, six months free Netflix and either a two year subscription to Sky Sports Mobile or Spotify Premium.
The iPhone 6 Plus is £48.50 a month for 4GB of data plus the additional aforementioned perks.
EE
Pre-orders went live at EE early on September 12, so you'll want to swing by its website for more info.
iPhone 6 contracts start at £50.99 plus a £29.99 upfront cost, while iPhone 6 Plus starts at £63.99 per month plus the same upfront price.
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
giffgaff
giffgaff jumped the gun and announced its iPhone 6 availability ahead of launch. It will be stocking the handset SIM-free or as part of their value for money goody bags.
“I’m pleased to confirm that giffgaff will be selling the iPhone 6 handset unlocked and at a very competitive price,” said a giffgaff spokesperson. “As soon as we have pricing information, we’ll be in touch, but as I say it will be competitively priced and will be available with our fantastic value goody bags.”
O2
O2's iPhone 6 pre-order page is now live and the network's tariff options have been revealed.
From O2, there are two tariffs available for the iPhone 6 duo. The most expensive offers 20GB of data and unlimited minutes and texts for £48 per month for the iPhone 6 and £53 per month for the iPhone 6 Plus. You'll need to pay a £49.99 per month upfront cost for both though.
The second option offer 2GB of data with unlimited texts and minutes. That'll cost you £38 per month for the iPhone 6 plus a £129.99 upfront payment or £43 per month for the iPhone 6 Plus with a £119.99 upfront payment.
Phones 4u
Phones 4u has opened up the pre-order pages for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus too. You can pick up a free iPhone 6 handset on tariffs starting at £43.50 a month from Vodafone with 4GB of 4G data and unlimited texts/minutes.
The iPhone 6 Plus will set you back a little more at £48.50 a month with Vodafone, but you do get 7GB of 4G data as well as unlimited texts/minutes.
Carphone Warehouse
If you're looking to pick up your new iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus from Carphone Warehouse, there's now a pre-order page on its website.
There are a variety of deals available, but you'll need to pay £43.50 a month to get a free iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 Plus will set you back at least £48.50 unless you want to pay a little upfront.
Virgin Media
From September 19, Virgin Media will also be offering the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Anyone who is interested can head to the Virgin Media website for more information.
No tariff information is available yet, but as usual Virgin Media cable customers will get £10 off all pay monthly contracts and get unlimited calls and texts to other Virgin Media mobile customers.
Tesco Mobile
Tesco Mobile has announced its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus 4G tariffs, with prices starting at £41 per month with no upfront costs.
The iPhone 6 tariffs start at £41 for 3GB of 4G data, 5000 texts and 3000 minutes. For the iPhone 6 Plus you're looking at a monthly price of £45 for the same amount of minutes/data/texts.
