London landmarks are lighting up to mark the royal birth. Hungerford Bridge is currently coloured blue, while the London Eye is decked out in red, white and blue. A message announcing "It's a boy" was also displayed around the top of the BT Tower.

A Buckingham Palace spokesman said: "The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh are delighted.
"Prime Minister David Cameron said: "The whole country will celebrate. They'll make wonderful parents."
The baby was born at the private Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, which reopened in June last year following an extensive refurbishment, The wing "boasts a luxury service similar to a high-end hotel", says the Daily Mirror.
