Dalton Harris wins The X Factor

Dalton Harris is the winner of The X Factor 2018.
"You have my absolute respect."
After performing his winner's single 'The Power of Love' alongside James Arthur, the singer beat out finalists Scarlett Lee (who finished second) and Anthony Russell (who came third) to claim the prize.

"He's been such a pleasure to work with and a true professional, so I'm so proud of him," said his mentor Louis Tomlinson.
"I really think what you two have done together is incredible, you have my absolute respect," added Simon Cowell.
But, what did viewers think? Well, they think the best person won and pretty much everyone is happy about Dalton's success.
"Dalton is by far one of the best singers they've had on the show, he's unreal," said one viewer.
"His vocals and passion are just wonderful to see, his collaboration with James Arthur is fantastic. So well deserved."
Dalton's winner's single with James Arthur – a cover of the Frankie Goes to Hollywood Christmas classic 'The Power of Love' – is out now, and all UK record company profits from the track will be donated to children's hospice charities Together for Short Lives and Shooting Star Chase.

The X Factor live final included performances from singers including Take That (with Robbie Williams), Ellie Goulding, Nile Rodgers, James Arthur, Leona Lewis and Kaiser Chiefs.
Oh, and also a mind-bending performance of 'Baby Shark'.
