Sponsor to pay for Aristotle school roof

Greece's Culture Ministry says money from a private sponsor will be used to turn the remains of an ancient school, where philosopher Aristotle taught nearly 2,500 years ago, into an outdoor museum.
Culture Minister Antonis Samaras says the project in central Athens is slated for completion next year and will cost euro 4.5 million. It will involve building a translucent roof over the site.
Funding for the venture will be provided by Greek betting company OPAP, which is partly state-owned.
Greece has promised wide-ranging spending cuts in 2009 after the budget deficit last exceeded EU limits.
