JLS sign recording deal with Epic
Formed in 2007, the band, who already have a legion of fans, were hailed by X Factor judge Simon Cowell as "brilliant".
The band, came close to being the first group to win the show in last month's final but were beaten by Alexandra Burke.
JLS, which stands for Jack the Lad Swings, consists of Oritse Williams and Jonathan Gill, both 21, Aston Merrygold, 20, and Marvin Humes, 23.
Nick Raphael, managing director of record label Epic, said he was delighted to have agreed a deal with the band.
"JLS are the best boy band to emerge from a TV talent show," he said.
"The band already have an incredible fan base, and I look forward to launching their recording career"
Epic already have British soul singer Lemar, the band Scouting for Girls and US superstar Shakira on their books.
Last month five teenage girls were injured at a free gig performed by JLS after 2,000 people gathered for the concert at Fairfield Halls, Croydon, south London. The venue can hold only around 1,500 people.
People were reportedly pushed forward as the crowd swelled when children gathered for tickets after school.
