Brac
Brac has a beautiful interior and the highest peak in all the Croatian islands, from which there are very fine views.
Brac (Croatia) is famous for its white marble, used for Diocletian’s Palace in Split and the White House in Washington. The Blaca monastery is interesting and Milna is a pretty port now with a marina offering 200 berths. The famous Zlatni Rat beach is usually very crowded but there are many other beaches and coves round the island. The small airport handles charter flights and a scheduled service to Zagreb.
